What is Tawaasal?

Tawaasal is an all-in-one school-management platform for K-12 schools. It brings together students, teachers, classes, homework, attendance, grading, communications, calendars, events, and parent engagement. The app is multilingual - 11 languages, including full Arabic with right-to-left layout. (The marketing website is currently in English and Arabic.)

Who uses Tawaasal?

School administrators, teachers, students, guardians, and supporting staff. Each role has a tailored dashboard and the permissions appropriate to their work. Schools can also create custom roles such as Head of Department or Teaching Assistant.

Is Tawaasal fully available in Arabic?

Yes. The Tawaasal app supports 11 languages, including full Arabic with right-to-left layout. (The marketing website is currently available in English and Arabic.) Each school sets a default language, and every user can switch their own interface language at any time.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes. iOS and Android apps are available for students, guardians, teachers, and staff. The app supports homework submission, attendance, schedules, grades, messaging, and notifications — with offline access for key features.

Can each school customize its branding?

Yes. Schools can configure their logo, colors, default language, and a custom subdomain such as yourschool.tawaasal.app. Higher tiers also support custom email-from addresses and branded notification templates.

Can I import existing student data?

Yes. You can import students, guardians, teachers, classes, and subjects from CSV or XLSX files. There is a guided import step in the onboarding wizard, and the Data Import tools are also available later from the admin panel.

How do guardians get access?

Each guardian has their own account linked to their child or children. One guardian can be linked to multiple students, and one student can have multiple guardians. Guardians see only the information relevant to their linked children.

Can I send notifications to parents and students?

Yes. Tawaasal supports in-app notifications, email, SMS (where enabled), and push notifications to the mobile app. You can use system templates or create your own — including bilingual content with rich formatting.

Can I try a demo before signing up?

Yes - you can try Tawaasal instantly with no signup. Log in as an Admin, Teacher, Student, or Guardian using the sample accounts on our demo page. The demo data resets every night, so please do not enter real or personal data.

Does Tawaasal include a timetable builder?

Yes. Tawaasal includes a built-in timetable builder under Academic → Schedules. You define your school's periods and breaks once, then build a weekly timetable for each class — click any slot to assign a subject, a teacher, and a room, and click an existing entry to edit or remove it. Students, guardians, and teachers then see their own daily and weekly schedule in the web app and the mobile app.

Can I connect ChatGPT or Claude to Tawaasal?

Yes. Tawaasal publishes an MCP connector, so ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code and Gemini Enterprise can answer questions about your school in plain language — "who was absent in 9B yesterday", "what's my timetable on Thursday". The assistant reads on your behalf and sees exactly what you see in Tawaasal, never more.

It is read-only. It cannot mark attendance, change a grade, or send a message.

A school admin turns connectors on, and chooses which roles may connect and what they may read. AI Connectors is an add-on.
